May 24th - Valparaiso

Valparaiso is a city which locates 120km north west from Santiago. This city has the biggest sea port in Chile. Also, Valparaiso is designated a world heritage site because of the unique nostalgic atmosphere of the town. This town has a lot of kinds of faces; a navy port, poor houses, and resort area with lots of steep slopes.

I like this atmosphere. It's not sophisticated enough but that makes the town more attractive.

It is sure that we visited a famous company in Valparaiso. Umm, Chile has many global companies. This company is the competitor of Nippon Yusen and bigger than Nippon Yusen. I worried about Japanese companies in the world. How do we survive in the world economy?
