Getting up at 6:45, I ate breakfast at the cafeteria in the hotel. In the morning, we visited Pan American Energy, the second largest energy company in Argentina. I think this must be a good company, but the presentation was too boring to wake up...
In the afternoon, we moved north to visit Tenaris, a global steel pipe company. I hadn't known this company until we visited. In Japan, Tenaris bought NKK Tubes. Among three companies we visited, Tenaris was the most exciting company because we could see the plant and the process they produce steel pipes. I was also surprised that this company is very open. We could take pictures as we want. It's impossible in Japan and USA. In my opinion, they should restrict more because of the risk of openness to visitors.
From 8 p.m, we went to wine restaurant for wine tasting. It was the first time for me to learn how to taste wine. It was a good experience to enjoy wine more. We tried three types of wine, north part of Argentina, Patagonia, and west part of Argentina. Taka, Ken and I went to the stake restaurant after that. We found this restaurant by Trip Advisor. The food was good and we enjoyed our dinner. When we finished the dinner, it was time to go to bed.
